Auxiliary House + So So Glos

Auxiliary House utilizes such instruments as trombone, trumpet, french horn, saxophone, violin, viola, accordion, flute, multiple drummers, group singing, etc to accomplish their broad sound. The outcome can be as disparate as raucous country romps, brass fanfare, sparse folk tunes, avant-appalachia, irreverent twee pop, orchestral flirtations, and psychedelic rock songs, all the while retaining a care for memorable melodies and beats that compel movement.

This summer, Auxiliary House is brining their traveling band (a la CCR) of musicians to the people. The 12-piece will be touring in a 44-passenger bus, converted to run on vegetable oil. The Auxiliary House ethos is to make the live show a communal and interactive experience for both the audience and band. The band's performances often evolve into a series of percussion jams, campfire sing-a-longs, and orchestral washes."
