Taylor McFerrin, son of the legendary Bobby McFerrin, is redefining the term “one-man show.” Combining his skills as a producer and performer, Taylor is making music heads around the world take notice as he seamlessly builds songs from scratch with his ambitious solo project. Vocals, Fender Rhodes, synthesizers, samples, and beat boxing are meshed together in his Brooklyn studio as Taylor builds from his roots deep in ‘60s soul to his vision of future hip-hop.

From San Fran to Philly to his current hometown of Brooklyn, Taylor thrives on a solid and loyal fan base through MySpace, combined with shoutouts from Time Out New York and Re:Up Magazine. He continues to gain popularity and captivate audiences at some of the most legendary venues such as Joe’s Pub, Nublu, The Knitting Factory, and Studio B in New York City. Taylor has also toured internationally sharing the stage with artists such as Dego and 2000 Black @ the BOCA party in Italy, Mark De Clive Lowe @ the Jazz a Vienne festival in France, and Karizma at the Southport Weekender in the UK.

Hamlet

Play is the thing in this new and innovative production of Hamlet. Denmark revels in a rotten kingdom of vaudevillian spectacle, while its Prince confronts his traitorous mother, a double-dealing uncle, and the ghost who  wants them dead. A fearless young cast provides raw violence and cocktail waitresses all while upholding the Bard’s pentameter. Featuring parkour acrobatics, bold design, and a heart-pounding original score, this Hamlet promises to surprise on every level.
