4Play:
an Evening of Arousing Performance
by Penny Arcade, Marga Gomez (pictured),
Scotty the Blue Bunny and Matthew Flower (aka Machine
Dazzle)
4PLAY
will tease and excite you with a program of new work,
work-in-progress and highlights from established shows
by four of downtown New York's most exciting artists.
International performance star Penny Arcade (Bitch!
Dyke! Faghag! Whore!) shares selections from "Rebellion
Cabaret" which she recently performed for a week
at the Sydney Opera House. Celebrated solo performer and
comedian Marga Gomez presents an excerpt from her latest
solo show, Los Big Names (directed by David
Schweizer) which debuted at the Kennedy Center last year
and is scheduled for a month-long run this summer in San
Francisco. Proving he's more than a hare-brained host,
Scotty the Blue Bunny departs from his role as burlesque
emcee and debuts material developed in a year-long collaboration
with director Eric Wallach. Rounding out the evening,
Matthew Flower (aka Machine Dazzle) returns to his roots
as a performance artist and debuts a short new solo piece.
Third Tuesdays at Galapagos is a monthly showcase curated
by downtown impresario Earl Dax featuring celebrated performers
from New York's downtown performance scene.

characterize this young band with a tremendous knack for
songwriting and structure and the often difficult task of
improvising in a large band setting."
