HYBRID: SONGS FOR KASSAR

HYBRID is a performance series featuring artists who explore new forms and fusions from ancient and contemporary sources.  Dancers and musicians sample ethnic and electronic elements -- from India to the Balkans, North Africa to Brooklyn – and remix them into a moving collage across cultures. 
 
This month we celebrate the release of a CD and two DVDs that feature the work of HYBRID resident artist Pete List.  Pete's new CD Songs for Kassar includes songs written for Kassar's DVD Fluid Precision:Tribal Bellydance and Blanca's DVD Sensual Bellydance.
