HYBRID
a forum for new evolutions in contemporary global performance

Alchemy Performance artistic director Sarah Johansson Locke presents HYBRID, a performance series featuring artists who explore new forms and fusions from ancient and contemporary sources. This incarnation of the series brings you some inspired East/West coast hybrids, as members of California's Urban Tribal and the bi-coastal (LA/NY) Desert Sin perform, and NY's Alchemy presents a new group piece with special guests. On the music end of things, Pete List shares his latest surprises and Mastika Duo unleashes some NYC-style Balkana-mania from some of the best local musicians in the genre.
