Monday Night Burlesque Presents:
Red Hots Burlesque Brings You the
CLOWNS OF CONEY ISLAND
Performers made famous by NYC's Sideshow turn clowny for
ONE NIGHT ONLY!
Dottie Lux, infamous clown burlesque performer, celebrates her birthday and the only thing she wants is to see her friends as clowns. You may have seen these performers before, but never like this! Dottie welcomes you to her birthday party starring: Serpentina, Insectavora, Krazy Kanz, Donny V,
Heather Holiday, Velocity Chyaldd, Remy Vicious and more. The cast is known for sword swallowing, fire eating, snake charming, shoving six inch spikes into their heads, fetching your drinks, being electrocuted on stage and you'll see all that and more!
Dottie Lux, founder of Red Hots' says: "My birthday comes once a year and every year it's in March. Hence, March is clown month! Don't get me a thing! Just wear a red nose! Ha!"
The Clowns of Coney Island step in as part of the burlesque series at Galapagos Art Space. This is a show like Monday Night Burlesque has never seen before. I hope they have a mop because Dottie's not leaving until there's a pie fight!

A historical drama, evocative of Shakespeare, based on the enduring love of a Hungarian woman interred in a Romanian detention camp with her seven children, while her husband served a political and religious sentence under Communism. The play is artfully orchestrated, leaving no room for sentimentality or superfluous detail. Juliet’s soliloquy skillfully translates such a nexus of emotions, trials and temptations (all the while laying bare such courage, faith, and love), that we are inspired to believe that historical truth still offers poetic beauty and poignant relevance to the contemporary spectator. "Melissa Hawkins is stunning as Juliet." Website Trailer: Reviews:
