THE FABULOUS ENTOURAGE with special guests Stickerbook and Adira Amram
Presented as part of BAM's Brooklyn Next Festival
THE FABULOUS ENTOURAGE have been described as ³freaky boy-girl art-punk sensations!" (LA WEEKLY). Compared to Devo (by the NEW YORK TIMES), Scissor Sisters (by PAPER MAGAZINE) and The B52¹s (by LA SPLASH MAGAZINE), this keyboard/bass/drum trio, joined by two Supremes-style female vocalists, has already earned a cult following for their over-the-top live shows, including notable performances at the 2006 Whitney Biennial, Knitting Factory Mainstage, Joe¹s Pub, Viper Room, Bowery Ballroom, and even a ³a floating concert² aboard a boat as it ferried around the Statue of Liberty. They've just come off a summer of playing shows in NYC and on the West Coast, including opening for hot British band Hot Chip. AM NEW YORK writes fondly,"[TFE's] live show kicks ass!" For more information, visit

ADIRA AMRAM (bottom photo) is all about music and comedy. She was selected by Jane
Magazine as one of the editor picks for May 2006. Her solo show "Adira Amram is: An
American Idol" ran at the PIT for the month of October. She is currently
working on her new CD tentatively titled "Hot Jams for Teens Volume 3."

Modular DJ
About Drop the Lime:
Drop the Lime grew up in New York City's underground rave scene. Since 2003, and has released numerous international singles and EP's on labels such as Ambush, Peace Off, Broklyn Beats, Mirex, and Tigerbeat6. His music combines the raw elements of Electro, Breakbeat, Grime and Techno. He’s a one man dancing machine that gets the crowd hype everytime! Fresh off his UK and European dates and finishing up his new EP on the Parisian label Institubes
(home to Para One) he’s pumped up and ready to go!
About Dandi Wind (pictured):
Part electro, part disco, part art project Dandi Wind formed in 2003 by
Dandi Opaine and Szam Findlay and have been laying waste to art school discos with their full-frontal audio-visual assault which i-D magazine describes as "dropping jaws wherever it stops.” With the addition of live drummer Evan Pierce, they’ve played sold out shows across Europe from Hammersmith Palais, Liars Club & Fabric to Paris Paris headlining with Klaxons, The Rakes, Les Georges Leningrad, Metronomy & Crystal Castles. Plus they’ve been getting tons of great press in NME, Artrocker, Vice, Drowned in Sound, Another Magazine and more! This will be their NYC debut!
About Trouble and Bass:
Trouble and Bass is full of bass hungry, would be ravers Drop the Lime,
Shadetek, Math Head and the lovely Star Eyes. These guys have been throwing
the infamous Trouble and Bass parties at Boogaloo in Brooklyn combining
“electro, house, techno, rave, grime, sublow, 4x4, bmore, aka all things
bass heavy!” We love them and their parties!
